Management Team

In most Internet businesses the value of the personnel are worth more than the physical assets on the company's balance sheet. Therefore, it is critical that an Internet venture retains talented and quality individuals. Black CyberSpace OnLine has not only been successful at attracting individuals that are at the top of their respective fields, Black CyberSpace OnLine has been able to attract business minds that share a common belief of wealth creation within the Black community.

  Anthony M. McCollum
Chairman, Founder, President & CEO
Is the majority shareholder of the company and will serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors. He brings 8 years of experience in asset analysis -- where he routinely oversaw budgets in excess of $15 million dollars. He also has experience in the areas of finance, marketing, business development, and acquisitions. He will handle the day-to-day decision making and strategic planning for the company. Anthony, a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, received his B.A. in Financial Economics with a minor in Logic from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, New Jersey. Mr. McCollum comes from the privately held firm of 4-Sight Entertainment, Inc., an interactive; multimedia, entertainment, and development company where he serves as the President & CEO. He is also a licensed Entertainment Agent within the State of New Jersey.
   
  Nathaniel R. Causley Jr.
Co-Founder, Senior Vice President & COO
Is a significant shareholder of the company and will serve as Secretary and Treasurer of the Board of Directors. He brings 10 years experience in corporate law, business development, financial planning, contract negotiation and public speaking. He will handle the day-to-day, worldwide operations for the company. A native of Camden, New Jersey and Champaign, Illinois, Nate graduated Cum Laude with a B.A. in Philosophy from Southern University A&M College, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He also holds a JD from Drake University Law School, Des Moines, Iowa. Prior to starting his own business, he held a legal clerkship with the Camden, New Jersey law firm of Harvey C. Johnson & Associates, a Special Agent with Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company, Princeton, New Jersey, an Account Representative with Metropolitan Life Insurance Company and a Sales Manager with Primerica Financial Services both of Newport News, Virginia, and an Adjunct Instructor at the College of Continuing Education, Hampton University, Hampton, Virginia. Since 1995, Nate has been the Chairman, President & CEO of Foresight Investment Group, Inc., a diversified holding company, with interests in Foresight Management Group. (an offshore and domestic corporate services company), Maddox Productions, L.L.C. (an entertainment management and production company), Xoddam Development Group, L.L.C. (a real estate development company), Headliner Sports (a professional sports management company), Nathaniel & Sons Publishing (a publishing company), and Michael Shawn's World (a cable television sitcom). He is a member of "Who's Who Among Executives & Professionals 1998", "Outstanding Young Men In America 1987", and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
   
  Charles K. Blackmon
Vice President & General Counsel
Is a minority shareholder of the company and a member of the Board of Directors. He brings 10 years of experience in law. He will be responsible for the day-to-day legal decisions for the company. Charles is a partner in the North Carolina law firm of Whitfield & Blackmon, L.L.P. A Durham North Carolina native, he holds a B.S. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a JD from the North Carolina Central University School of Law. Prior to opening his private law office, he was an associate for 4 years with the Philadelphia law firm of Dessen, Moses & Sheinoff. He is a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
   
  Pamela Thompson
Vice President & CMO
Pamela Thompson will oversee the strategic marketing and advertising decisions for our company. Since 1996, she has been the President of Lord Marketing and Communications Company, Pittsburgh, PA, a privately held firm specializing in marketing, corporate communications, advertising and event planning. Prior to starting her own business, several Fortune 1000 companies employed Pamela as a Business Development Manager and a District Sales manager. Pamela has attained more than eight years of experience in marketing, public relations, strategic planning and business development. Pamela is a native and current resident of Pittsburgh, PA. Pamela holds a B.A. in Pre law Criminology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Indiana, PA. She has been a frequent guest on local television and radio programs speaking on the subject of "guerilla marketing" techniques. She is a member of the National Association of Market Developers (NAMD), the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), and the American Marketing Association (AMA).
   
  Vice President of IT
Vice President of Information Technology
will bring over 10 years of experience in finance, strategic planning and venture development. VP/CFO will be responsible for providing financial oversight for the company's financing plans and long-term financial operations.
   
  Ronald D. Patterson
Vice President of Sales
He brings 25 plus years of management and sales experience. Ron will oversee the RVP sales network. While with Xerox Corporation, Ron has held various management positions. Prior to working at Xerox, Ron was a Senior Business Consultant for Informatics, Inc. and a Systems Project Manager for Litton Automated Business Systems. Ron started his career as an artillery officer after graduating from Southern University with a B.S., Cum Laude in Mathematics. Ron earned his M.B.A., Operations Research, from Bernard Baruch University, New York. He is a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
   
  Melvin C. Terrell
Vice President of Icon Administration
Dr. Terrell is a significant shareholder and member of the Board of Directors. Dr. Terrell will oversee the company's icon administrator network. Dr. Terrell currently resides in Chicago, IL. He received a B.S. Ed. in History from Chicago State University, a M.Ed. in Student Personnel from Loyola University, and a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration and Black Studies from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. He is the Vice President for Student Affairs/Public Affairs and Professor of Counselor Education at Northeastern Illinois University. He served on the American Association of Higher Education (AAHE) Black Caucus Executive Board from 1985 - 1991. He is a life member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
   
  Nathaniel R. Causley, Sr.
Vice President Human Resources
Mr. Causley will oversee the company's human resources and personnel. Mr. Causley is a native of Camden, NJ and currently resides in Champaign, IL. He holds a B.A. in Sociology from Moravian College in Bethlehem, PA. He brings over 30 years experience in human resource management, employee benefits, recruitment, selection, hiring and placement of management and non-management employees. Prior to joining Black CyberSpace OnLine, Inc. he held positions with the following organizations: Hechts Department Store, S&K Menswear, Private Industry Council of Philadelphia, Inc., Arco Chemical Company, Bell of Pennsylvania, and the Campbell Soup Company. Mr. Causley is also a Principle in the privately held management-consulting firm of Causley & Associates. He is a U.S. Air Force veteran and a member of the United Way.
   
  James C. Smith
Director
Is a significant shareholder of the company and brings 30 years of technology-related management experience to his position. James, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, earned a B.A. in Economics from Southern University A&M College, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He also earned a M.B.A. from St. Mary's University, San Antonio, Texas. (It is believed that he is the first African-American to receive this degree from the university in its 119-year history up until 1971). James spent twenty years in the U.S. Army and retired at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. After leaving the military, James joined the Aerospace Group of the General Electric Company. After leaving GE, he resigned to open the doors of Systems Engineering and Management Associates (SEMA), Inc. Since starting SEMA, Inc., James has grown the company into a successful, high technology services firm. In 1993, Inc. Magazine placed SEMA, Inc. on the "Inc. 500" list of America's fastest growing private companies. Government Computer News recognized SEMA, Inc. as "one of the ten fastest-growing government contractors for FY 1989 and 1992". Black Enterprise Magazine has selected SEMA, Inc. as one of the "Top 100" Black Owned Companies each year from 1990 through 1997. He is a member of the Mystick Krewe of Louisianians, Inc. and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
